Over the centuries many pilgrims have visited the site of St Piran's Oratory or Chapel in the towans at Perran Sands. The parishioners of Perranzabuloe have regularly done so all through the year. Now on the nearest Sunday to his special day, 5th March, hundreds and thousands of people come from all over Cornwall and beyond to remember and honour a great man of Cornwall - PIRAN. |
